The following organizations started this initiative but are now being supported by

people working in education, social services, churches and health care.

A lot of individual volunteers are also contributing to the effort!

The Kennedy Commission is a community-based non-profit that works with residents and community organizations to increase the production of homes affordable to lower income households in Orange County.

Welcoming Neighbors Home, a ministry of Tapestry, A Unitarian Universalist Congregation based in Lake Forest, works to end homelessness and advocate for affordable housing.

Tackling the pervasive issue of homelessness for families with children, last year Families Forward improved the lives of more than 13,000 people. From providing food assistance, career coaching, mental health counseling, to financial literacy education, Families Forward is committed to strengthening overall well-being as well as ensuring everyone has a place to call home.
